Well, Will and I finally got a real couch. Not a futon. Futon is GONE. And it's a pullout. A queen-sized pullout! We ended up having to pick it up from the Bob's Discount furniture warehouse in Norwich, CT. So imagine this: We're lifting this couch onto the truck, all of a sudden, we hear a very familiar voice. We turn around, it Bob was there... like, just chillin, talking on the phone. I was tempted to say, "Hey Bob! Cmon down!" But he was on the phone and I figured it was rude to do so. But still, funny shit.
Yea, that's really it. Just thought I'd share ^_^

I HAVE A CAR!
Yes, that's right. It is in my possession, as of this moment. And to anyone who's wondering, it's a '98 VW Passat. And it's green. And it has a turbo ^_^ Mwahahaha! Here's to never being late for work in the morning because Will doesn't give himself enough time to wake up and get me there ever again! Yaaaaay!

Well, it's official. I'm going back to UMASS next semester. Huzzah! I have so many things I need to get in order, including figuring out how to get an extension on my loans before they come due. I should probably do that soon.
Yeah, nothing else has really been going. I've been working, a lot. I get my car this weekend, which I'm REALLY looking forward to. It's my birthday on Saturday. I'm pretty much rejecting the fact that I'm turning 20. I want to just skip 20 and say I'm 21. Is that so much to ask??? ::sigh::
I'm hungry. And I need to get ready for work. Maybe I'll update more later... that's a lie.

So, I got my first paycheck from CVS today. So, naturally, I immediate deposited it and spent $50 at the mall. Cuz I can! Whoever thought up the concept of payday is amazing. I got two pairs of these HOT thigh high's (one black, one white... and they have bows on the top too, hottt shitttt!), and this amazing corset which I'm going to wear to the next party I go to, and two new belly button rings. Yea, I'm very happy. I haven't been nice to myself in a long time.
I also worked some stuff out for the weekend. I was supposed to be in Milford at 6am tomorrow, but it turns out I can just meet them in Westfield at 8 instead. Yay not having to leave tomorrow morning at 4:30am! So yes, this weekend is a drill weekend. I need it.
Oh, and I made peanut butter cookies. They're very good ^_^

Things have been running fairly smoothly lately. Hopefully I can run a photo department my myself by next week. I've been working at CVS almost everyday this past week, and I will continue working everyday this week. Although I do have Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off, but only because I have a drill weekend so I legally have to have those days off. I like hanging out with the ANG band, it's one of the best things I ever did with my life.
Speaking of the Air Force and all that, I guess a slot opened up for will, and he'll be going to MEPS and taking his ASVAB over spring break, and is enlisting shortly thereafter. You know what that means... $1,000 for me! Plus I get my tax return money... plus now I have a job and I'm currently working just about full-time. And yet, I couldn't afford groceries this week and Will has to cover my rent for this month. Ironic, no? I have so much money coming my way, and yet I'm not at all at ease because I'm broke NOW.
I wish I had time to go home, for two big reasons, actually. First off, I am eligible to get a new phone this month if I renew my contract... which I will. I decided I'm getting that awesome red Razr. And it's free! Well, actually it's like $50 but my dad said consider it an early birthday present. And the other reason is that, well, I miss my family a lot. I really do enjoy going home when I do. It's funny, because all my life I've been struggling to get away from my family – I'd always go out with my friends in high school, I went to college in another state, I got my own apartment. I mean, my dad got that new job in Springfield which is much closer, but he's usually uber busy. Today, for instance, he was supposed to come over. Now I'm lucky if he can make it for a quick lunch. I really hope he comes!!!

Well then, a lot of good things have been happening lately. On Friday I FINALLY got my license. Yea I know, I'm 3 years late. I'm so happy, now I finally have a sense of mobility. I should have a car by May, when my dad puts me on the car insurance. I'm not complaining or anything, but the car I'm going to get isn't exactly in the best shape. My mom doesn't take very good care of her cars. But to be honest, it's better than a lot of the cars on campus... plus is works. I would prefer a working car.
I started work on Sunday. I'm VERY excited for the job. I start register training today, which is nice because I'll finally have something to do. Then I'll have photo training on Saturday, which I'm REALLY looking forward to. I'm actually hoping the photo department will be as busy as it was as Walgreens, but to be honest, I don't think it will be. Oh well, I'm making money. Which is good. Very good.
Ok, here it is ::drumroll:: I finally got the chinchilla! Squeeee! When we picked her up, the breeder didn't tell us that we should bring a carrier... so we had to bring her home in a small beer box o_O She wasn't too happy with that, to say the least. But she loves her cage, and she took the the change very well. We even put her in a run-around ball last night and she had a ball! (no pun intended) She really is a sweetheart... even if she does poop a lot. Yaaay chinchillas!
I think that's all the good news from now. Plus I have to go to work soon (I'm so happy I can say that again!)

Speaking of money, I got that job at CVS photo! I had my interview today, and the manager was WAY too flattering. He pretty much told me that I was amazing, and he wasn't even looking to hire, but he wanted me there. A well-needed confidence boost after being declined from like 10 other jobs. Plus, my starting rate is $9.00 an hour. Holla! I start training next week.

So yesterday, Will and I went back to the chinchilla breeder's house. We looked at all the little babies, and finally, I held this one little standard female, and she just chilled in my arms, they looked up at me, and started nibbling my chin! And yes, I totally fell in love with her. We put down a deposit, and she should be weaned and ready to go by February 10th. We ordered a cage and other various chinchilla supplies. Supposedly that should get here by tomorrow, but we'll see. Yay FedEx! Now, all we have to do is think of a decent name. We wanted to name her either Kyra or Cheetara, but neither of those names fit her personality. She's very mello and sweet... any ideas? I also ran Kiara by Will (from the Lion King II) but he didn't seem too terribly thrilled about it. Story option: I talked to Alexis and asked her opinion on the whole name situation, and she said, "Well, if she's so mello, why not name her Mello?" And I was like, "No! She isn't shiny happy! NOOO!" Go band. fo lyfe.
Good news: I might be able to start going to classes soon. Huzzah! Also, my flute is ready to be picked up, and but I can't seem to find a ride to Greenfield. Steve is supposed to bring me tomorrow, if he follows through. We shall see.

Will and have narrowed down the names quite a bit. So right now, we're thinking about naming her Aria. Let me know what you think ^_^

Well, we moved in yesterday. Things are coming along, there are a lot of little projects to do. And some big ones. We moved the 35" tv here from my house yesterday, along with other various things, and a dresser. We still need to pick up a mattress next week, and another dresser from my or Will's house. Looks like we'll need the truck again :-\ We spent out first night here last night, on the futon in the living room. Hopefully next time we stay here we'll have an actual bed to sleep on... and a nice one at that. Mom let me bring up my beautiful bed set from home!!! The living room may be Will's project, but the bedroom is all MINE! Mwahaha... so pretty much we have an amazing apartment and we want people over all the time. Well, I'll be going home until the 2nd for holidays and such. Then hopefully I'll be working here :) I'm going to Brian and Tina's house for the legendary new year party. Will is known for getting particularly wasted at this event. I'm looking forward to it.
Time to go home now!

To be honest, I don't really even know where to begin. Band is amazing... and almost over. Will is doing well. My friends are doing well, except for one who still continues to confuse me and give me the cold shoulder for no reason from time to time. Eh, what can you do, I try my best, and if that's not good enough, oh well. My lessons have been going unusually well, I feel like I've made some actual progress in my playing this year. Not much else to say, don't really find much time to post I guess. Maybe I'll try to post more or something. But that might be a lie ;]
